Fines and brags compliments of Bill Mathy:

Rick Crane as impersonated by Tom Meyer – was fined for advertising.  The three coaches introduced us to their top two performers from the Track Meet we sponsored a couple of weeks ago.  All thanked us for our 17 year commitment to their kids and it was noted that since the event had a history that dates back to these kid’s births, we were now going to incorporated into their local history classes at each school.

Then Finemaster Bill went on to congratulate Ray Hansen for securing a new donation from  Peekaboo Street for a state of the art ICU wing.  They are going to call it the Peekaboo ICU.  Mark McGee was recognized for his19th Birthday,

Bill Schenk, received a $25 fine for missing the opportunity to hand out business cards after the band was finished and everyone who though it was too loud was fined $25 for being fuddy duddies.  Bob Savage celebrated his 41st anniversaryl.

Ken Kaisch,(Osama Bin Nutcase) missed a few birthdays last week and that was corrected with all fines being assessed to him.  Deborah Sanchez, 4/14 celebrated her 24th anniversary, Dave Bates was fined for his wife Bev’s birthday, Bob Clark Jr. celebrated his birthday, along with Jay Kramer, Lee Myhre and Rick Crane celebrated his wife’s birthday by taking her to the Fab Four Concert.  Bill Schenk’s wife is going to Sundance for his anniversary and birthday happening this week.  Rumor has it that he might be able to go too!

Bob Radde introduced the program:

Bob opened citing the long history our club has with Child Guidance Center (we are listed as a donor on the front of their building dating from 1971).   It began with volunteers working 3 hours a week helping emotionally disturbed children.  Now they have 3 locations and 7 satellites with 50 mental health professionals helping 950 families and children a week.  Hank Parris is executive director and long time Fullerton resident.  He met someone today who’s involvement with CDC predates the building by 4 years.  Lee Myhre was treasurer in 1967 and in on the start of the program.  Hank thanked us for $4,000 given to him last week.

Closing thought by President Tom:  If you think you are too small to make a difference, you have never been in bed with a mosquito.  Oops, that one should be credited to Past President Terri.  (It was so great, I had to cite it again!) Tom’s was, “Good judgment comes from experience and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.”
