Dick Mathewson took the podium to introduce the Reading by Nine participants. Dick towering height and dark suit cut a commanding figure especially as he awarded the participants with the highest honor one can receive at a Fullerton Rotary meeting. With great ceremony Dick presented Judy Atwell, Bill Hite, Jay Kramer, Bob Muschek, Maryalyce Jeremiah, Leslie McCarthy, Chris Hartnett, Stephanie Lins, and Jane Mathewson a very special Pig in multiple colors adorned with a simple Rotary emblem. A discussion of Pig Envy followed the presentation.

Prez Scott closed today’s meeting with this thought for the day by Ben Franklin “Whatever is begun in anger ends in shame”
